Located under Quirinal Hill, one of the seven hills in the centre of Rome, this tunnel was built to connect two roads and to facilitate the road circulation. It is 347m long, 17m wide, and 8.5 m high, and the road surface is coated with cobblestones. The tunnel is open to traffic and pedestrians. You may enter it by the first entrance, or the second.
